Assalamu Alaikum and Eid Mubarak to all our readers!

The air was thick with anticipation as Bayinah Academy’s Primary Campus transformed into a vibrant tapestry of colors, sounds, and heartfelt devotion. The occasion? The Ramadan Event, an annual celebration that brings together students, parents, and staff to honor the blessed month of Ramadan.

A Month of Preparation

For weeks leading up to the event, the school buzzed with excitement. Teachers, students, and administrators collaborated tirelessly to create an unforgettable experience. The theme? “Illuminating Hearts: A Tribute to Ramadan.”

The Grand Stage

As the sun rays pipped into 2nd Parklands, the Bayinah Primary Campus came alive. The courtyard, adorned with colorful balloons and crescent moon decorations, welcomed families. The aroma of dates and cinnamon roles wafted through the air, invoking memories of iftar gatherings.

The event started with a beautiful recitation of the Quran by some of our students. It was a heartwarming moment to see them recite the holy verses with such passion and sincerity. The Quran is the word of Allah, and it was a perfect start to the event. Next up, The real magic happened when the students took to the stage to showcase their talents. From reciting Quranic verses to performing Nasheed songs, our students left everyone in awe of their skills and dedication.

Simultaneously, we had the awards ceremony. Our school takes pride in recognizing the hard work and achievements of our students. We awarded students who had excelled in their academics, sports, and extracurricular activities. It was a proud moment for both the students and their families.

The Performances

1. Plays: Stories of Faith

The young actors took the stage, bringing to life tales of prophets, compassion, and resilience. From Noah’s Ark to the patience of Job, the plays resonated with the audience. Parents wiped away tears as their children portrayed characters who exemplified unwavering faith.

2. Nasheeds: Melodies of Devotion

The Kg, dressed in pristine white, sang nasheeds that echoed through the hearts of all present. Their harmonious voices praised Allah, and the audience swayed in unison. The lyrics spoke of hope, forgiveness, and the beauty of fasting during Ramadan.

3. Poems: Words from the Soul

Bayinah’s budding poets stepped forward, their voices trembling with emotion. Their poems celebrated the unity of the ummah, the joy of suhoor, and the serenity of taraweeh prayers. One young poet captured it perfectly: “In the quiet of dawn, we find our strength.”

The Cake Auction

Next on the agenda was a cake & Art auction . Our school had organized a bake sale, and the funds raised would be donated to a charity. The auction was a hit, and it was heartening to see how generous our  families were.

In the spirit of giving and generosity, the cake & art auction unfolded as a beacon of hope for those in need. Every bid cast, every cake & art admired, resonated with the collective desire to support a worthy cause. As participants eagerly vied for their favorite treats, the air was filled with anticipation and goodwill, knowing that each winning bid would contribute to the iftar program for the less fortunate. With each cake & piece of art claimed from our students, the auction became not just a celebration of confectionery delights but a testament to the power of community coming together to make a difference. As the final bids were placed and the last cakes found their homes, hearts were lifted, knowing that their contributions would help bring joy and sustenance to those in need during the holy month of Ramadan.

Amidst the lively buzz of the cake auction, excitement reached its peak as winners emerged from a tough competition. Among them, a delighted parent stepped forward to claim the delicious prize they had won. With a smile that reflected both gratitude and triumph, they graciously received the intricately decorated cake, a sweet reward for their participation and support
